CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
We have finished our first unit on Bible Teachings including the beatitudes and are so proud of how much the students have learned! Thanks you to all of our teachers and shepherds who have helped make this a success. Our next unit is on Isaiah- Fulfilling the prophecy. The children will explore the following concepts:
*Jesus was the promised Messiah, God’s representative in the earthly kingdom.
*Isaiah, a prophet whose name means “God has saved,” told the people of God’s promise to send a savior to help them.
*The promise of a Messiah filled the people with hope and peace.
*We can share the hope, peace, and love of Jesus with others.
*During Advent we tell the stories of Jesus’ birth, God’s promise fulfilled.

* Grace After School is a program that provides a place were caring people will teach children, who are in church or children who might not otherwise be in a church on Sunday, about the Bible, our faith, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We also want kids to learn to be intentional about adding Jesus to their week and take another opportunity to do faith training work with our youth so that we will raise kids who love the Lord.
We are running about 30 strong and look forward to expanding our program. If you have any questions, would like to help or would like more information please contact the church office!
